THE LETTER TO THE GALATIANS - ROCKY & SUSAN LUDES
Were you ever convinced by a dynamic speaker or a persuasive book or even a good friend, only to find out later their understanding was wrong? This is what happened to the new Christians in Galatia!
We will be working alongside Mark’s sermon series. In this 12-week class we will use a John Stott study guide which has questions for reflection. You’ll read the passage, and complete the study guide for that week so we can discuss it together in class. After class, we will hear Mark preach on these verses in the worship service.Class materials are only your bible (NIV recommended) and the study guide: Galatians, Experiencing the Grace of Christ, by John Stott, 1998, IVP Connect. THE LEGACY OF MARTIN LUTHER

This year, 2017, marks the 500th anniversary of the beginning of the Reformation with Martin Luther
posting his 95 points of contention with Catholic Church practices. This class will study the life of Luther and his legacy on issues of vocation, family, and even music. We will also look at the 5 “Solas” of Reformed Theology, as well as the development of Protestant denominations. Using books, video, maps, pamphlets and pictures taken in July 2017 on a trip to Eisenach, Erfurt and Wittenburg, this class will seek to engage living out the very questions the Reformers were asking: what and why do we believe?

College aged or a year or few post-college? In town for the summer?
Melissa Thow leads this group for those college aged or a few years past. Meeting in the Barnard House at 9am they are working through the challenging book "Experiencing God: Knowing and Doing the Will of God" by Henry Blackaby. This is a great book and a great group!
